( I recovered this! It's long, it's rambling and it's very subjective but is mine. All mine. As an explanation for Ben (and any other non-regulars reading), the Michael referenced in this piece is a longstanding mysterious ZG NPC who appears to be some entity which watches over the Shadowlands and occasionally takes necromancy away from people who he feels to be irresponsible with it. What he is has been described variously as a demon, a baali, a vampire, a mage, a ferryman, or just something very weird. He was certainly spiritual in nature, and as such was killed by Khara in the scene over the weekend. )
