[As I've spotted three or four other people who've mentioned dropping by Biers on the way through their Doomsdays, why not come by? We're good for chat, gossip, trauma and cool stories - please add stuff in comments. :)]

Biers stayed open all Sunday night. No one was that much worried about late licenses, after all, when Westminster council was as much in flames as everyone else. Mhairie didn't go out clubbing as she normally would have that night, keeping an eye on the homeless, the injured and the just plain stunned who were settled into a variety of chairs, benches and cushions. Rae kept bringing them in.

Switching through stations on the radio to find one with a decent newsreader, she frowned at how few local stations were broadcasting. The BBC were still on the air, but reports suggested that there weren't all that many people who'd be going to work in the morning. Christian winced at the pop and hiss, and moved quickly and apologetically away from the machine to make sure everyone could hear.

There were no signs of the Garou still, and Mhairie was drumming her fingernails on the bar tensely as she smiled and calmed and soothed the newcomers, repeating gently that Biers was safe, was safe; that no one would come in to cause trouble...
