Cities across the world crumbled into flame and hysteria, but not everyone could perceive such calamity. Two dreamwalkers stepped in time with each other's heartbeats, forging a path with the sole surviving child of a dead reality, he who took his exile as apotheosis and let this new world tremble beneath his footsteps. The trio set to their task, their skin bound only by their ego, their momentum powered only by their id.

Zachary concentrated upon the ritual, letting the sea of emotions pass through him as he understood each one, whispering the words over and over again, until in the myriad of sweeping currents that could only be described as colours, one shape remained the same, one colour remained the same. A single point of red, that grew into a star...

Those were not the words. They were the grim fortelling of the nature of the destroyer. The blazing eye of Anthelios, where Zach wrestled free from two years ago.

Zachary shut out the horrible understanding and focused on the ritual. Uttering the words with only a slight pause. The world would need this, whatever the cost to themselves...

Rituals can be strange things when done in places with no concept of time. It seemed like both a year and only a second had passed within each other. Eventually the ritual was complete and the astral forms retreated back into the physical worlds.

Zach awoke, his body felt strange, he felt light, almost... malleable. He looked to Petra and that was the first blow. His sister, his other half, the one who shared her Avatar to be merged into one gestalt with his was there. But something was terribly wrong.

It was then that Zach could feel London, and only tears could follow.
