"It's quiet, so very quiet, the ghost in the machine has finally been silenced and I can't do a damned thing about it. She's gone, cut off and I daren't reconnect for fear of her getting out.

The silence is deafening, the noise around me meaningless against the backdrop of the quiet. Soon I must face her and one of us will loose the other in a myriad of subtle ways. It will be curious to learn what the others think, after all they simply see the outside and fail to comprehend the magnificance of my work. Information is power it's been said, I say it's only power when it is allowed to flow freely, changing and inspiring, teaching lessons to those in need of them.

This is what she taught me to be when she whispered the words of God into my mind.

And now I am alone

I think of all the times that I asked of her, to fulfil my desires and needs, in return I sacrificed my flesh to her, surrendered just a little of my humanity so that I might serve her. I am her Access, she my ORACLE, apart I am Nothing."
